Events in Traverse City – March 2016. As March rolls around, we’re so excited for spring to arrive in Northern Michigan! As the month continues, the sunny and warm days increase in frequency and the snow slowly starts to disappear. Just as the days warm up, the wine and beer activities begin to heat up as well. We’ve put together some of the more fun wine and beer events in Traverse City in one place to help you decide when to schedule your next tour!

Sips, Chips & Dips

On Saturday, March 19th, a host of Leelanau wineries are hosting Sips, Chips & Dips, which features simple and delicious snacks paired with their award-winning wines. What an excellent way to indulge in new, delicious foods that are specifically concocted to go excellently with paired wines. The event runs from 12-5, and a host of wineries are participating. This is a free event, so book your tour and we’ll get you to the wineries who are getting involved in the fun!

Open Mic Night at Taproot Cider House

Wrap your mid-week tour up at Taproot Cider House for an evening of live, local musical talent! There’s no better way to end an afternoon and evening of soaking in beautiful views and sampling the area’s wine than tucking in to some delicious food. Traverse City has produced some amazing musical acts of the last few years. This is an opportunity to see the next big group in an intimate setting.

Oh Brother Big Sister at Bonobo

Oh Brother Big Sister is one of the best bands to come out of Northern Michigan in years, and they’ll be at Bonobo Winery on Friday, March 11 from 5pm-9pm. Book your tour and we’ll stop by Bonobo for a taste of delicious wine and amazing music. Athalia’s Boutique will be on hand as well for you to peruse their selection of unique styles and fashions.
