In addition to our regular join-in tours and private tours, we have special tours and pop-up events that may only run once a year or once a week. Some of these events are the join-in/public type and some are private events for just your group. If you’re looking to mix things up and try something new, then a special tour or event is the perfect choice. What to Expect During a Special Event
Most of the special wine tour events include the event ticket, transportation, tasting fees and food pairing included with the event ticket, gratuity for the driver and a custom WineAndBeerTours.com wine bag.
Join-in Tour/Event
On the day of your join-in tour, we’ll pick you up for free at your Traverse City area hotel or rental before heading out to stop at the wineries, breweries, and distilleries of the area. Only interested in wine? No worries, we have something for almost everyone. We have tours that take in just wine, wine & beer, wine & spirits, and just breweries that also sell wine & hard cider.
Our fleet features many different vehicles, so depending on the join-in tour size that day, you could be in a vehicle that fits 7 to 32 guests! Our vehicles are the newest (average age is 2.5 years) in town and extremely comfortable, no matter the size. The average size of our group tours is 14, some can be as big as 20-24 people on busier weekends. You can see pictures of our vehicles here on the Vehicles page.
Everyone always asks what the join-in tours are like and we say the same thing every time. “Our join-in tours are a little quiet on the way to the first stop but on the way home everyone wants to live together forever!”
Private Tour/Event
Looking to spend an intimate day with your friends or family in northern Michigan? Our private tours can be for any type of event: Bachelor and Bachelorette parties, wine tasting, sightseeing, corporate events, combination tours, wineries, breweries, distilleries and more!
Private tours are great for groups who want to visit specific locations and have a plan, but also for groups who know they want an afternoon together but want us to plan all the locations. We are here to help if you need us!
Pick-up and drop-off are included for most of the Torch Lake area and you can decide where the tour goes or we will help plan your day. All private tours to the Torch Lake area start at 4 hours, but extra time can be added at checkout.
We have a wide range of vehicles from our Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes Sprinters to our Funky School Bus, 26 Pass limo buses or 32 pass trolleys, we have something to fit your group’s needs. Check out the vehicle options and prices below to see which best fits your needs!
Our online booking system requires your payment in full or you can give us a call at 231-499-2656 and you’ll only need to put down a small deposit to reserve your vehicle and your balance can be paid the day of your tour.
