We love Willow Vineyards for many reasons. Not only do they have the best views of West Bay and Power Island they also have wonderful sweet and dry wine, friendly and hands-on owners and they are one of the five original wineries on Leelanau Peninsula. Willow Vineyards and Winery are also celebrating their 20th year this year so there is no better time to go in and visit!

On a clear day, you can see up to five shades of blue in West Bay and have the perfect view of Power Island!
The Tasting Room at Willow Vineyards and Winery
We love that their tasting room is right next to their vines. It’s a very unique experience where guests can enjoy a glass of wine and be just a few feet from their vineyard. They also have some fun and unique retail in their tasting room you have to check out.
Even their tasting room and retail section offer gorgeous views of West Bay.
Their current tasting room special is one flight with a cheese plate for only $10! They make it super easy for you and let you try from the Dry Wine Flight or the Sweet Wine Flight, or both. These are some of our favorite pictures, they are pictures of owners Jo and John from over 20 years ago when they first started their vineyard! It has grown so much since then, definitely take peek at them next time you are visiting.

Our client’s favorites are the Sweet Rain, Rose, and the Pinot Noir. Enjoy a tasting at the bar or head out to the patio with a bottle or two!

How Do I get to Willow Vineyards?
Here is the best part! Don’t worry about driving the 20 minutes to the winery, call us! We will pick you up from your Traverse City area hotel or rental, 7 days a week. Then we will drive you up to Willow Vineyards to enjoy their wonderful wine and views.
