Discover the Best of Rove Estate Vineyard and Winery in Leelanau County

Rove Estate Vineyard and Winery

Rove Estate Vineyard and Winery has quickly become one of our favorite stops for many reasons. Whether it’s the award-winning wines, the view of the gorgeous countryside from the tasting room,  the highest elevation in Leelanau County found after a short walk along the Rove Point Trail, or their love, passion, and dedication for the area dating back 5 generations, Rove Estate Vineyard and Winery is a must stop on your next visit to Northern Michigan!

The location is the perfect stop when driving to or from Sleep Bear Dunes National Lakeshore for the day. Located just 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City and located right off  M72, you cant miss the adorable white tasting room perched on the hilltop.

Unless you have a drone or a professional photographer, pictures of Rove Estate don’t really do this view justice. But trust us when we say the view of the countryside “just keeps going” and it’s one you won’t want to miss from their tasting room or outdoor patio.

The Award Winning Wine at Rove Estate Vineyard and Winery

Our personal favorites at the last tasting were the 2017 Unoaked Chardonnay Estate, Gewurztraminer Estate, and Cabernet Franc Estate but they are all wonderful and you have the opportunity to try 20 different types, including 2 hard ciders. In just the past few months they have released ten new types of wine for you to try so if you were there last year it is definitely worth another visit!
